USDA Building-Columbus, Nebraska

Design / Build / Lease service used.

This building is occupied by several USDA agencies, such as Farm Service Agency (FSA), Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) and Rural Development (RD).

The building is a 70' x 85' standard wood framed building, with vinyl siding and 4 inch face brick exterior wainscot over stud walls.  The roof is a 4-12 pitch with traditional decking and asphalt shingles.

The entrance is a commercial grade aluminum framed glass door, with a quarry tile and carpet foyer which offers two separate directions for the customer to use depending on the service they require.

It features traditional drywall interior walls, solid oak doors, trimmed in oak.  The floors are concrete with commercial carpeting throughout, except in storage and break areas, which are vinyl tile.

In 2005, a 1000+ sq. ft. addition was added to the building to incorporate 3 offices, increase general office space and create a larger designated conference room.  In conjunction with expansion, additional parking was added to allow employees a designated area and increase customer parking.
